Training Services.
Each MedNet eClinical Solution is designed to fit into the workflow of sites and sponsors alike, and to be as easy and intuitive to use as possible - lengthy periods of training and thick user manuals are simply not required.
However, to ensure sites and sponsors/CROs alike get the most from the system, as well as comply with regulatory requirements for training, MedNet offers a variety of instructional options, including:
- MedNet Online Training Subsystem
- Designed primarily for site personnel, this online training covers: logging in, security, definition of terms, case report forms, data entry, To Do Lists, data analysis, HIPAA and regulatory issues, etc. Users have two training options available: an online streaming training video with explanatory voiceover, or an online viewable/printable website reference guide. Both of these training options are configured using study-specific screens, terminology, workflows, etc. The subsystem also tracks training completion by each user and provides training certificates suitable for printing.
- Onsite Customer Training
- Expert MedNet personnel are available to provide in-person training at the sponsor's/CRO's offices. This customized training typically addresses the study management capabilities of the MedNet eClinical Solution that are not available to the sites. In addition, MedNet can provide "train the trainer" instruction to customer personnel, equipping these individuals to provide system training to other users of the system.
- Web-based Interactive Customer Training
- In these sessions, MedNet typically provides web-based interactive training to the customer's project management personnel. These sessions, generally 1 to 2 hours in length, can accommodate customer staff at multiple locations. Each location only needs access to an Internet connected computer to participate.
- Onsite Training at Investigator Meetings
- MedNet offers "computer lab" style, instructor-led training for investigators and/or Research Coordinators. This instruction is provided on-site at the sponsor's location of choice.
- Web-based Interactive Clinical Site Training
- Using this option, MedNet instructors provide remote, web-based interactive instruction to clinical site staff. This is a cost effective means to simultaneously train multiple locations without incurring any travel-related costs.
- Training Website
- MedNet can provide and maintain a training website outside the live study environment on a training server. The training website will be identical to the live website other than being marked as "training only." This site can remain active for as long as desired by the customer.
